fireworks

Last February 19, i urged my family to go to the 2nd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. Boy, it sure was a jaw-dropping experience and am glad i pushed them. =D

I have just recently read on the blog http://www.ourawesomeplanet.com/ that if you plan to go to the event, go there on February 19 because its the day when the United Kingdom will present and it is the defending champion. Sure enough, United Kingdom's presentation went beyond my expectation and i liked that!

Event will be until March 12 but before you go there, here are some pointers:
1. Be there before or at least 4pm. you can have a great view of the sunset and you can have a decent seat (not exactly decent but enough for you to see the fireworks at the bay floor) we were late. no seats for us.booo!
2. Bring a chair if you know you will be late.
3. Bring water. Water there is expensive. you can buy at SM Hypermart near the Sunset Road.
4. Parking is a big problem for late comers. Again, be there early.
5. Bring some food. you will be waiting a lot. inside are just cart foods like sweet corn and popcorn.
6. You can reserve ticket through ticketnet,911-5555. Ticket ranges from silver-100, gold-200, vip- 500, vip with dinner-1500. =D no tickets necessary if you will not go inside the bay area but you can still see the fireworks there.
7. Don't forget to bring your camera/ videocam and enjoy!
